Mastakut arrived from Japan in 1988 and was immediately taken by the Blues Dance scene in South London. He took interest in rare groove records and began DJing at the leading black community radio station Genesis from 1992 and continues to do so to the present day.

Having more than ten years of DJing at Genesis on Saturday nights as well as South London clubs under his belt, he has built his own unique yet diverse selection of music, centering around soul.

His spot on the Invincible Radio will be for music connoisseurs and will feature music from jazz records labels such as Impulse Records, Milestone Records, Prestige Records, Black Jazz Records and soul artists such as Leroy Hutson and Curtis Mayfield.

Mastakut will also play records from late-70s/80s disco such as those from Salsoul and West End Records to the latest House.
