"It all started at the tender age of 10, when I bought my first record. After a few years I found myself playing music at my Dads friends parties. When I reached 14 years of age I found myself leaving school in my lunch break to buy records from Blue Bird, Mojo and Hawkeye record shops. Since I didn't rave much at the time, my main source of hearing music was the radio, with the likes of David Rodigan, Robbie Vincent and Tony Williams.

In 1979 the Manager of Morackus sound system, who, at the time was looking for a new DJ to join them spotted me playing music at a friend's birthday party. I did a few gigs with them and became their main selector a few months later.

In 1980 I left Morackus to start my own Sound with two of my cousins Nigel & Ronald called Attraction A.T.C. We found ourselves doing a lot of work for our Dads social club, coach trips, parties and weddings.

In 1988 i joined a pirate station called Star FM and later Street FM in 2001.

In 1996 i joined a Sound called The Connoisseurs and left them in 2004 to form my own business called Des Entertainments specialists in Sound & DJ Hire, Lighting and Catering for Weddings, Parties and Corporate Events.

I consider my self to be an all-round DJ playing a mixture of R'n'B, Hip Hop, Reggae, Chart, Old Skool and what ever else I consider being good music".
